Zach & Noelle Slagel
Ministry Essentials Staff
Our Story:
Zach spent eight years in business consulting before the Lord led him to seminary and eventually into full-time ministry. Noelle studied psychology and missions and spent a year working with victims of human trafficking in Cambodia before pursuing graduate studies in clinical psychology at Wheaton College, where she met Zach. They spent nearly eight years serving cross-culturally in Cambodia through church planting and counseling alongside their growing family. For the last five years, they lived in Albania where they led a house church and provided soul care to global workers living in the Balkan countries of Europe.
Zach is an ordained priest in the Anglican Church of North America, and has a heart for shepherding people and soul care. Noelle is a Licensed Professional and loves to see people set free to live the life that Jesus has for them.
Zach & Noelle have been married since 2007 and have four children: Asher, Emmett, Talia & Juniper. They recently returned back to live and serve in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Our Ministry:
The Slagels have returned to Cambodia to serve the Anglican Church in pastoral ministry and spiritual formation. They will also serve as Directors of the Living Well Counseling Center in Phnom Penh for a season.
Noelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and will begin offering Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to those who have experienced trauma. Zach is a certified Spiritual Director and Pastoral Counselor and will offer these soul care services locally in Cambodia and globally via Zoom. They also both have experience in leading people through intentional times of discernment.
