Ben and Rebekah met in Massachusetts, USA, and connected over a shared desire to serve cross-culturally. Rebekah spent seven years teaching in Thailand right after college and experienced the highs and lows of living overseas. Ben spent two and a half years serving in East Africa, teaching English and seeking to build up the local body of believers. Together, Ben and Rebekah desire to care for cross-cultural workers through mental, spiritual, and emotional support. They pray that these supports enable global workers to thrive, helping them avoid burnout, sustain their ministries, and remain spiritually nourished.

Ben is a licensed mental health clinician and earned his MA in Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and has worked with families in crisis for over five years. Rebekah received her MFA in Visual Art from Azusa Pacific University and is a certified spiritual director through PAX Center for Christian Spiritual Formation.

The Blums plan to move to Budapest, Hungary, in 2027 to serve global workers full-time.
