The Budapest Garden House

Total Need:  $62,000

In addition to our normal year-end need of $30,000, the Ukraine War Energy Crisis hit the Garden House (GH) hard. As of September 1, 2023, the increase in rent (33%), utilities (gas up 7x, electric up 3x), and inflation (Hungary is #1 in Europe for highest inflation) increased our budget by $32,000 this year. We are struggling to pay these increased costs currently and need time to raise those funds to keep the doors open.

As the Ukraine war has continued, how could we have known The Garden House would become a training place for displaced member care workers who were sent from Central America and Southeast Asia? Who would have thought our small groups and retreats would gather workers from 9 countries including Egypt, Costa Rica, Brazil, and China? God has brought the world to the Garden House for a time. We are so grateful for this chance to train, wait with, and release these global workers back to their countries. Who could have guessed God would use what Satan meant for evil and do such good – like this!
