Our Calling

The way of trust is a movement into obscurity, into the undefined, into ambiguity, not into some predetermined, clearly delineated plan for the future. The next step discloses itself only out of a discernment of God acting in the desert of the present moment.

We are called to know Him and reflect Him in our world as unique individuals gifted by God through his Spirit.

This kind of “knowing,” expressed in Jesus’ high priestly prayer (Jn. 17:1-3) and by Paul (Phil. 3:10), has more to do with a continual experience of God than it does with knowing information about Him.  And the more we experience Him, the more we reflect Him in everything we say and do.
